About Sutton Bonington TKD

Tae Kwon Do is a military martial art practised all around the world. It originated in Korea, it has now become popular as a Sport as well as very good for Self-Defence.

At the Club we not only teach the art of Tae Kwon Do, but we also believe in teaching a high degree of Self-Defence, which will work in the street, especially for ladies and children. Students can achieve exercises that develop strength, flexibility, endurance, speed, balance, memory, concentration, co-ordination and self-control; to name a few. One of the keys to the success of Tae Kwon Do is that the exercises are fun, the students see results, and they are inspired to do more.

Tae Kwon Do is suitable for just about anyone. If you have a disability do not think that it should be a reason not to come along, we will teach all levels of ability and adjust the technique to suit your requirements if necessary.

The club benefits from having students of a mixed age range. It also has a family feel, making it a great place to meet people, as well as getting fit and learning to protect yourself at the same time.

We are affiliated to Heart of England Taekwon-Do, the International Taekwon-Do Federation and the British Taekwon-Do Council.
